The artist performs a set of various non-gender conforming leaning actions that test, and push the boundaries of their endurance and strength. The two-hour piece relies on audience interaction and navigation between sculpture, space and body. The artist intersects and blocks the performance architecture, forcing the audience to interact and move around them. This has an unsettling effect and challenges the viewers perception on physicality and gender, as the artist sports iconic 501® Levi jeans made popular by iconic male movie stars such as Marlon Brando and James Dean and a common gender fluid garment today.
Performance duration: two hours
