A live sculptural performance where the artist activates wearable body objects to explore notions of ‘the spectacle’. The artist manipulates and manoeuvres her body through and against the aluminium frames to confront the power dynamic between viewer and performer. The viewer is invited to explore the symbolic presence of the female form within a public sphere. The work derives from experimentation in the studio to create a series of wearable restraints, to evoke parts or extension of the body.
